While viewing this picture, I recommend listening to : "Romanze" (thus the title) by sahashi toshihiko, a piece of background music from the series " Gunslinger Girl".

...So after a while, I decided to give up the Calarts application, since there was no way I'd be able to make the recommended deadline. My portfolio, in the state it's in right now, wouldn't be enough to get me into even the most accepting art school. Much depression ensued.

Now, everybody knows the best remedy to depression is an anime-episode-downloading-spree, and so Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (fullmetal alchemist) has become my next obsession. ^_^ '' I highly recommend it; it's a great show (very funny, and yet, very sad and twisted). For those of you who already watch the series, this was after the Nina & chimera bit; that episode really was a shocker, and it inspired me to draw some fanart again...after a long drawback of life drawing.

Ah yay! FMA art! I loved the Nina eps, they hit me so hard as I wasnt expecting anything so depressing so quick into the series! Great job on the rain too, I can never get rain to look as convincing as this^_^

this picture is different from most of your pics. it's so dark! but that's a good thing. you get a sad feel from it.... i love how you did the rain! it's an excellent picture. ^O^ looks just like official anime art!
